When you buy from us, we collect your name, your email address, and what you bought. If you use the Vault, we also store your progress inside it. We collect basic technical information about your visit, including which ad or link brought you here. We use all of this to deliver what you bought, to email you, to run your account, and to see which ads bring people in. We do not sell your personal information for money. You can unsubscribe, ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing support@businesswithai.com.

01Who we are
Business with AI LLC ("Business with AI", "we", "us", "our") runs the website at businesswithai.com, sells the AI Employee Starter Kit and its add-on kits, and sells the paid product we call the Vault. We are the company responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

02What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, buy one of our products, download what you bought, or use a Vault account, and what we do with it. It applies to everything at businesswithai.com and to the emails we send you.
It does not cover other companies' websites, products, or tools that you choose to use alongside ours, including AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude. Those companies have their own privacy policies.
03What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name and email address, when you buy the AI Employee Starter Kit, one of its add-ons, or the Vault.
- Your payment details, which you enter into a checkout form provided by Stripe. Stripe processes the payment. We never receive or store your full card number, and we cannot see it.
- Your account details, if you buy the Vault: your email address and the password you set. Passwords are stored in a scrambled form by our database provider and cannot be read by us. Buying the Starter Kit does not create an account.
- What you tell us in messages, when you email support or reply to one of our emails.
Information about your order
For every purchase we keep a record of what you bought, the amount, the currency, the date, and the reference numbers Stripe gives the payment. For the Starter Kit and its add-ons, this record is what unlocks your download page, and the link we email you points to it.
Information about how you use the Vault
If you have a Vault account, we store the things that make the product work across your devices and remember where you left off:
- Ideas you save, and whether you have marked one as considering, building, or launched.
- Your answers to the idea quiz and the results it produced for you.
- Which steps of a build or launch plan you have ticked off.
- Which of the short walkthroughs you have already seen.
Information we collect automatically
- Technical information from your visit, collected by our hosting provider in its ordinary server logs. This includes your IP address, the type of browser and device you are using, the pages you requested, and the time of the request.
- Where you came from. When you arrive from an ad or a link, we store the campaign details in the address of that link (the utm values, and the campaign, ad set, and ad identifiers that Meta, TikTok, and Whop ads add), the click identifiers Meta and TikTok add to their ad links, the website that referred you, the first page you landed on, and a random identifier for your browser. This is kept in a cookie set by our own site for 90 days, and it is attached to your purchase record if you buy, so we can tell which ads actually pay for themselves.
- Email delivery. Resend, the service that sends our emails, records whether they were delivered.
Information we get from other companies
Stripe confirms your payment and tells us the name and email you used, the amount and currency, the status of any Vault subscription, and its own reference numbers.
04How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Take payment and deliver what you bought: your download page and the email with its link for the Starter Kit and its add-ons, or your account and access for the Vault.
- Send the emails that come with a purchase, such as your receipt, your download link, and your access details.
- Email customers about our products and updates, with an unsubscribe link in every one. See Your email choices below.
- Run the Vault: saving your ideas, remembering your progress, and keeping you signed in.
- Answer your questions, provide support, and handle refunds.
- Quote feedback you send us on our website, under a changed name so you cannot be identified. If you would rather we did not quote you, tell us and we will remove it.
- Understand what works: which pages and ads bring people in, and which parts of our products get used.
- Advertise, including measuring the results of our ads and showing them to people likely to be interested. See Advertising and measurement below.
- Keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
- Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
If you are covered by the UK or EU data protection rules, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (delivering what you bought and running your account), your consent (advertising cookies and marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving the business, and measuring our marketing), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
06Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Meta's platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and on TikTok, including through Whop, which runs ads on Meta for its customers. Three things follow from that.
First, when you click one of our ads, the link carries a click identifier and campaign details, and we store them as described above so we can see which ads produce sales. Second, Meta's, TikTok's, and Whop's measurement tools run on our pages, may set cookies on your browser, and report back to them that a visit, a checkout, or a purchase happened.
Third, when you buy, our server also reports the sale to each of them directly, so a purchase still counts if you close the page early. Meta and TikTok receive a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and name, together with your IP address, browser type, their own cookies, and the random identifier for your browser described above. The scrambling happens before anything is sent, so neither company receives the plain text. Whop receives the amount, your email address, and your name unscrambled, because Whop's measurement tool only matches on the plain text, along with the same technical details and the address of the page you first landed on. Whop may pass purchase information on to Meta to measure the ads it runs for us. This is what lets us reach people similar to our customers, and lets us stop showing you ads for something you already bought.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state privacy laws define "sale" and "targeted advertising" broadly enough that our use of these advertising tools can count as a sale or a share of personal information. You have the right to opt out, and we honor that:
- Email support@businesswithai.com with the subject "Opt out of targeted advertising" and we will remove you from advertising audiences and stop sharing your information for that purpose.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out for that browser.
- You can also control what Meta shows you in your Meta account's ad settings, and what TikTok shows you in your TikTok account's ad settings.
We do not use your information to make decisions about you that have a legal or similarly significant effect, and we do not profile you for that purpose.
08How long we keep it
- Our customer email list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a minimal record of the unsubscribe so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Your download page: available for as long as your order stands, so the link in your email keeps working. A refund ends it.
- Vault accounts and what is in them: while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove it and the saved ideas, quiz results, and progress attached to it.
- Purchase and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is generally seven years. Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
- Attribution information: 90 days in your browser. Where it has been attached to a purchase, it stays with that purchase record.
- Server logs: a short period, set by our hosting provider, and used for security and troubleshooting.
- Support emails: while they are useful for supporting you, and then deleted in the ordinary course.
09How we protect it
The site runs over an encrypted connection. Passwords are scrambled by our database provider and are not readable by us. Our database restricts every Vault account to its own data, so one customer cannot read another's. The files you buy are kept in private storage and handed out through download links that expire within minutes. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, which is certified to the payment card industry's security standard. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it.
No website or company can promise perfect security. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
10Your privacy rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you access to it.
- Give you a copy in a portable format.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information and close your account.
- Stop using your information for targeted advertising.
- Stop emailing you.
Email support@businesswithai.com from the address you bought with, or tell us which address to look up. We may need to verify who you are before we act, which usually means confirming you control that email address. Using these rights costs nothing and will never get you worse service or a worse price.
If you live in Virginia
The Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act gives you the rights above, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We will respond within 45 days, and we may extend that once by a further 45 days if the request is complex, in which case we will tell you why.
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or emailing support@businesswithai.com with the subject "Privacy appeal". We will respond to the appeal within 60 days. If the appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Virginia Attorney General at oag.state.va.us/consumer-protection.
If you live in another US state
States including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and Utah give their residents similar rights. We apply the rights above to everyone, so you can make the same requests in the same way. California residents may also use an authorized agent, and have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising their rights.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area
You also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, to ask us to restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, and in the UK to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
11Your email choices
When you buy from us, we add you to our customer email list, which we use to send you updates and offers about our products. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click stops them. We will still send you the emails that are part of something you bought, such as a receipt, your download link, or an important notice about your account, because those are not marketing.
12Children
Our products are meant for adults running or starting a business. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email support@businesswithai.com and we will delete it.
13Other sites and tools
Our products are designed to be used with tools you sign up for yourself, such as ChatGPT or Claude, and the Vault's build plans point to others, such as a payment processor or a hosting provider. When you paste our files or your business details into one of those tools, or create an account with one of those companies, their privacy policy governs what happens to that information. We have no control over it and are not responsible for it, so it is worth reading theirs before you use them.
14Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States and our service providers store and process information there. If you use our site from another country, you are sending your information to the United States, where privacy laws differ from your own. Where information moves out of the UK or the European Economic Area, our providers rely on the standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
15Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when what we do changes, and the date at the top will always say when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will tell customers by email before it takes effect.
